I am not finding any other examples online, I think it might be a rare error perhap? because maybe they used a base die (all the wording and mint mark without the date) for the reverse that was from a set for the Burgau coins that have G’s on them. It would make sense it being from the same mint. It probably could be just a decently unique error for that year.
I don‘t have much info on Habsburg coins.
I would try to contact one of the Austrian auction houses such as:
Dorotheum
H. D. Rauch
VIA GmbH - Münzenhandel und Auktionen

Hello, there is nothing mysterious - Maria Theresa's son ruled together with his mother in the monarchy. He supervised and directed everything.
He also continued to mint coins until 1790.
The year 1785 and the coin "H" are listed here, and it is also mentioned that it was also issued under the designation "G".
Look on Google for the coins of "Joseph II", the son of Maria Theresa
And I must mention that Maria Theresa's father, Karel VI, was a passionate numismatist and had a huge collection of his own coins that he issued himself and his grandson Josef inherited it.

I add:

I also can't find the ,, G ,, mintmark for the 1 haller. Perhaps my only explanation is that the mint master,, Tobias Johann von Schöbel,, put the marking,, G,, on the rare, and it was also under the marking,,,H,, both marks are for this mint.
