Hello, I acquired this coin about 3 years ago. It is a poltina(½ rouble) with no date. It is in perfect condition. The details and weight check out, along with the patina. I am having some trouble figuring out what mint the coin is from. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't say whether it's original or not.

Not original

A certified 1721 and your example.

So it‘s a fake?

While I'm certainly not a specialist, I can see that we have here three distinct coins (in the catalogue, slabbed and the coin in question). They differ in so many details and actually the one we're discussing has best details! Doesn't look like cast and if it is fake, someone did a hell of a job!

Alright, thank you everyone for your opinions. I will start looking at companies that can certify it for a good price. I really appreciate all your help.

Thank you and have a good day, or night.

For anyone still interested, I was able to get the seller to issue a refund.

Thank you for all your help.
