Hi, i recently was gifted a bag of old coins, and going through them slowly, trying to identify some, however i am lost on this one, any help would be appreciated, I've taken a picture with it alongside a UK 20p coin for size.

Cut your image to just that coin and put it in google image search to give you some hints.

Ottoman empire

Hello

Welcome aboard 😃

With a breaf search on Numista, you see that it's not an ottoman coin, cause no numeral is present. Nor an egyptian coin.

So it's a token, in this region it's called a belly dancer coin.

A search in the Exonumia catalog is not that efficient either.

You might add this token in the Exonumia catalog with a precise weight and diameter.

half of coin is destroyed and it does look similar to 20 para.

You're right, it wasn't a “Non precious coin” :)
