Help with value and if real

I have been offered some coins from my neighbo who thinks they are Rare. First I don’t trust myself on Asian coins but the bottom US coin is clearly fake. Want to help him if I can before he takes them to a coin shop. 
 

Compare to real ones and you'll probably be able to tell by yourself. Does your neighbor have a magnet?

Thanks for the quick reply, that is an excellent comparison you showed. I will bring a magnet and scale also when I check   I just need  evidence to show him just not my word. 

1799 USA dollar is likely a copy or replica. Nevermind. You already know that.

I am sorry but none of these are even good counterfeits. They simply resemble genuine coins.  Crudely made. Top example for instance.

As memtioned previously, I suspect all that is needed here is a digital scale to 1/10 of a gram to tell you all you need to know.

Just a follow up on the meeting with the seller. I explained to him about my concerns regarding them being fake. I was told his brother sent the coins to him from china and asked for him to sell them. I broke out the scale and had him read the weight out for me from the krause book i gave him. Not one coin was within 2 grams of listed weight, although he got excited looking at the catalog prices of these coins. I asked to please destroy coins because he did not want to sell to me. I will be monitoring Craigslist and see if they get posted again. What more can you do?
