Roman provincial coin - Alexandria ?

5.82 g. - 20.55 mm

Could you help me to identify this coin. It may have some silver in it, but not much. I cannot read the legent on the obverse, even though it should be possible to check if the legend matches a proposed coin.

Any idea?

Thanks a lot… There is hope. When I post a coin here, I already searched the web for a few hours… but sometimes I make a basic mistake…  Here I have no clue… The emperor seems quite young: Caracalla, Geta, Elagabalus?

So, no idea for that one?

Sorry, no, I did look but I can't make anything out of the visible letters and nor could I find anything that matches the odd truncation and headgear on the right hand head.

That´s right. RPC lists 70000 types whereas our catalogue only has 2000 types listed. Maybe you´ll have better chances to find your coin in the RPC catalogue :D Currently I am trying my best to add every city, so that there is at least one coin per city and that all cities are listed. But adding 68000 coins per hand is not doable at all 😅

I understand… RPC is already GREAT anyway.
