Medieval English penny

Can anyone help me to identify this penny?

John or maybe Henry III?

The obverse lettering is clearly HENRICVS, so Henry III. seems plausible.

I think yours is an earlier one. See the beard of the king. On the early ones it is composed of thin lines (just as on your coin) and the on the later ones it's made of beads.

Also there is a scepter in the hand of the kind, the top of it is visible (as an X).

Sp#1355/1356/1357 are the closest ones.

Yes, but what is the difference between Henry, Richard and John coinage? As they all have “Henricus Rex” on the obverse.

You've got me 🙂.

Richard have a little bit of different beard: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=england&r=&st=1-2-79-80&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=491&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=1+penny&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&se=&c=&wi=&sw=

But the later ones of John are similar: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=england&r=&st=1-2-79-80&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=492&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=1+penny&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&se=&c=&wi=&sw=

Thanks, you've helped a lot :)
