Cob Pillar and Wave - 4 Reales - Need help identifying date

The date on the coin appears to read 1? 558 but I can't find any pillar and wave 4 Reales coins minted in that year.

It will be very difficult to find a real pillars and wave 4 Reales 1558 coin, because that type of cob was introduced in 1652.

Your picture shows a cheap modern imitation or blatant fake!

Yes, indeed “or 1658” ….  but also as a blatant fake.

No legit pillars cob of that time has 4 of its 9 quarters on the reverse empty - interestingly lacking mint mark and assayer's mark …..

The numbers (especially the 5) used for the date don't fit with the normal numbers used in the VXII century ….

There is no trace of the waves ……
