Unusual Features on Lincoln Cent

Apart from wear and tear, what unusual features do you see?

The 1963 is beautiful. Wonder if it's a proof.

The details in the hair and clothing on the 2002 one are strange.

The original coin is copper plated zinc, similar to what can be seen here, and costs the US Mint 4 cents to make in a very high volume production line. What would be the incentive for anyone to make a fake?

They will have small microchip listening, recording (hacking into Bluetooth & wifi) devices in them, this example has had its chip removed so the Chinese can deny all knowledge. They know that most US cent coins go in a jar in the home and so can gather prolonged information from one location without the coin being passed from one person to the next.

That is why the Chinese make 2002 fake Cent coins 😜

Any suggestions or recommendations on where to send the coin to an accurate and trusted company for appraisal?

Dont waste money on grading. These are just regular cents unfortunately.

I've checked the PCGS CoinFacts app for auction house sales, and the coin's pricing remains profitable, making it a promising investment opportunity.

I doubt it will grade high enough to be worth the cost.

They are selling for under $2 on eBay.
