Is this bulk lot worth it?

I just purchased this huge lot of Mexican coins, do you think it is worth it?

If you collect Mexican then yes. If you do not collect Mexican then 1lb of coins a least where I should cost you about $7.50.

Not at the price it was sold at.

I'd pay no more than 6 bucks for this lot.

You can't always say that.

Let's say you bought a lot of 100 pennies for 10 bucks. It may seem like a great deal if you never had US pennies before, but in reality it's only a dollar's worth of pennies.

What you should look for on eBay are surefire buys, like ones with old copper coins for only 5 bucks. Utilize the NGC price guide.

I don't think 80's Mexican coins are worth much at all, especially not for that amount.

If I buy a lot like that on ebay I price what I can see and estimate the weight of those coins and subtract that from the rest of the coins and pay coins I see plus $3.75 per lbs.  If I can not see it, it is too risky for me to bid more then $3.75 including shipping.

Look closely at the lot, I noticed some 50's 60's and 70's as well. Any value to those?

Those are relatively common.
