2 Euro Germany 2014 – Eagle with Snake or 'S' Shape? Need Help Identifying

3 сообщений • просмотрено 72 раз

Hello everyone, 👋

I recently came across a 2 Euro coin from Germany dated 2014, and I noticed something unusual about the eagle on the reverse side.
There seems to be an S-shaped line or a snake-like figure running through the body of the eagle. 🧐

I'm not sure if it's a minting error, a variant, or just a regular detail.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could:

Help identify whether this is a known error or variety,

Give me an idea of its potential value if it's something rare,

Or just confirm it's a normal design element.

I've attached clear photos of both sides of the coin (front and back).

Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

Post mint damage. Somebody to a hammer and an S punch to it. Still worth 2 euros.

It will only be worth more than €2 if it was found in quarters.
