How to know the price of coins ?

I have a couple of coins that I'll like to sell but want to re confirm the price. Where can I see the approximate price ?

You look up the coin in the catalogue, and you will find values from auctions in the past.

If you have relatively common coins, you can do a “Sold Items” search on eBay.  This gives you the most recent results from the largest coin marketplace in North America.

If they are rare, you look at auction results on sites like CoinArchives or acsearch.
