Does anyone know why a coin with Numista rarity index of 16 is so expensive?


I have 1954(B) and 1955(B), both in XF...

Also, why 1955(B) in MS63 is $2.50 while MS60 is $20?

It is a lower mintage than the others. Also, I believe it appears to be a question of mint marks. Also, I think the MS63 is supposed to be $25.00.

I think the demand decides the price even if they are pretty common.
