Roman provincial - Marcus Aurelius? [решено]

Hello everyone! I have this roman provincial coin that i need help with. I’m quite confused with the script on the coin, it looks similar to greek but is a bit more sloppy. I can read ”AVAC” on the obverse but nothing on the reverse. I believe it to be Marcus Aurelius but i am unsure since the portrait is similar but i can’t find any coins with a portrait like it. Weight is 1,92 grams and diameter is 18,03 mm. Thanks in advance!

I tried to search the Numista catalogue for a similar obverse legend in Latin or Greek but was unsuccessful. Is it silver?

To me it doesn't look provincial but Roman, later 2nd–earlier 3rd century.

I had that exact issue, it doesn’t quite look like Latin or Greek. Are there any other languages seen on roman coins or could it possibly be an imitation? Also i believe that it is bronze, although low quality with multiple weird light spots. here are some better pictures that show the colour more.

Ah, yes — very possibly an imitation. Here is one I posted several years ago on this site:

Note the clumsy lettering. Since it imitates a coin of Commodus, it's quite possibly from roughly the same decade(s) as yours. This one is obviously of higher silver content. Yours, if a barbaric imitation, seems to imitate a denarius as well, but in very low silver content, i.e. billon.

You’re probably right, thanks. On the same topic is there any good website that specialices in imitations? I have another one which i suspect to be an imitation that i asked avout a while ago and didn’t get an answer to: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic169083.html#p1294086
