I just inherited my great-grandfather's coin collection from my dad (lots of really cool things). But this coin is labeled as “Luxembourg 1681?” and I can't find anything on it. Is it a fake/souvenir that has gotten mixed into the collection. Clearly my dad or grandfather couldn't find information on it either, but I have no idea where it was purchased. It's about the size of a US half dollar or large British penny from around 1920.
Probably a jeton/ accounting token. Not sure if it's a real date but the numbers above the coat of arms look more like 1532 than 1681.
The reverse legend is unfortunately a bit out of flan and not in the best condition.
