Hello,
I do not have the experience to offer opinion on authenticity. Magnets do not stick.
What do you think... real or Chinese?
Dan
I've seen so many fakes, and I can 100% guarantee you these are fake.

Sorry about that. Maybe you can "trade" them for real trade dollars.

How can you tell?  I really want to learn how to spot fakes
Thanks Kenny,
I was pretty sure they were by the way the Seller is pitching them. When I didn't bite, he tries giving me the deal of a lifetime on Seated Liberty dollars. I think there are more crooks in this business than there were in the swimming pool industry (my old stomping grounds). LOL
Regards,
Dan
The person you can trust least is the guy who sells you the coins.

The way I could tell they were fake is because of the weak strike on certain parts of the "coin". Notice how the beading around the edge of the coin is stronger in some areas and weaker in others. Also notice the crudely emboldened text on the coin. Once you start getting used to fakes it becomes more and more obvious.

Dan,
Apart from the right things that Kenny has pointed out, it also usually helps to google an image of a coin authenticated by some recognized third party grading company and put the two images next to each other. Differences in small details, in particular along the rim, which seems to be the most difficult area for forgers, will tell if you are looking at on original coin or not.
Here is the image of an authentic coin
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
Andrey is absolutely right.

It's best to pull out a certified coin photo when you have no idea if the coin is real or not. I usually don't do it because I'm too lazy to get the photo.

The education is well appreciated. Bear with me I'm in the early stages.

Me too, we learn and grow.
Still learning after all these years!
Cents are money too!
We all do, don't we? That's the benefit of collecting.
