About the two eagle types.

Hi there.

I'm currently working through the different variants for coins I have. Some of which I struggle with, even with my magnifying glass.

For these ones, I was wondering if both versions of Eagles are on each of the years, or did they swap over at some point on these coins, as I tend to second guess myself when viewing them.

Also, I don't chat on here much at the moment, and was hesitant to ask, as I wasn't sure if this breaks rule number 6. If it does, I apologise.

Going back to your original question, in all honesty I don’t know if it applies to all years, I think most members find it such a small difference that they don’t bother much with it, I know I don’t, and I have never seen the eagle size mentioned in any catalogue. For now I would just try and find a small and large for 1980 and see how obvious it was to the naked eye side by side, then see if any other years jump out with comparative examples.
