Just went through my Serbia coins and thought maybe nice to post this neat error.. Cherry picked this one some time ago.. The weight is 3,14 grams on my scale.. (cheap one..) that should be within the margins.. The diameter is a little bit more than 20mm..

I don’t want to disappoint you, but in my opinion someone has filed the edge of the coin including the rim, so now you have a 20mm coin.
If it was struck on a 1 Dinar planchet there would not be a rim around the edge of your coin (because the planchet would be too small for the dies to produce any rim), which there is on your coin unfortunately (probably produced during the filing process) - it also looks uneven around the edge, not a perfect circle like an un-filed planchet, visa vie a coin with a edge that has been filed, producing a slight rim.

Maybe what King says but if the minting press was set up to make a 2 Dinara coin it would have a 22 mm collar. A smaller planchet would not have expanded in diameter to hit the collar resulting in a coin with no rim and an uneven circular edge. I'm not seeing a raised rim. I'm not convinced either way.
Not to mention it is highly unlikely a smaller blank would sit dead centre of a larger die when being minted, wouldn’t it be more likely the smaller blank would end up to one side? Leaving (as seen on other wrong planchet strikes) an off centre coin, with rim elements clearly defined in one area.

Dear both, thanks for the replies.. I do agree it's a bit sketchy so on the photos and i agree with the theoretical part.. But in the hand there are no traces whatsoever of filling the edge.. The coin is indeed a little bit off center.. I had almost not enough daylight anymore to make photos.. i tried..
1 photo of the edge of a normal 1 Dinar together with the “2 Dinars” filled or not.. ;)
Anyway, paid €1,- for it.. So it's good conversation piece.. and maybe a legit error.. 😇
(difference of the weight with the 1 dinar were 0.07 gram.)

You are right, judging on images is just not as comprehensive as judging in hand - I hope it is what you think it is, and for a €uro, it’s a bargain anyway.
I do like these WWII coins in Zinc, the 50 Para is the hardest to get hold of, and to find them without corrosion or damage is also a challenge like all zinc coins!
