Okay, so when I was clearing out my grandmother's house, I came across a 14k gold copy of a penny from the Gold Penny Club and it was minted by International Mint. Is there any value for it besides just the gold content? It is paper thin and roughly 1cm wide.
Copies, in particular when they are not to the original size of the copied coin, are usually worth only the price of the metal they are made from.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
