Good morning all,
If you notice there appears two 'hooved animal legs' extending from the folds of this minstrel's robes. Does anyone know the significance of them or why they appear?
I ask because I have a very old cast metal statue of a seated woman in long flowing robes, but in addition to her normal two feet with shoes, there also extends an almost identical 'hooved animal leg' from the folds of her robe. I had given up many years ago on the 'why', until I noticed same thing on this coin.
Thanks,
Dan
