The word drain is an anagram of dinar as 'new drain' means re-arrange drain letters?!

Reasoning: Very Dodgy But

Same as the famous V.D.B. initials that are on the cent. There's also the relation to copper with the piping like Neil said. I'd also guess it's American from the dollar reference.

Because bitcoin is an online currency from the clue 'electric shock'. It's also very 'dodgy' because of its worth value.
Not drachma (sp) is it ? Simply because of the lightning bolt Zeus and the currency being Greek.

OK, I have 3 guesses...

"New Drain":  "Novih" is "New" in Serbian (also spoken in Yugoslavia). Dinar, anagram of Drain

"Electric shock": Something with Nikola Tesla.  Electricity can be generated with the assistance of difference in metals...both of the 2 following coins contain Copper, Zinc and Nickel.  Some sinks contain copper and nickel. A drain is part of a sink.

In Serbia they have the 20 Dinara with Nikola Tesla... (Copper, Zinc and Nickel)
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6529.html

BUT  in Yugoslavia the 20 Novih Dinara with Nikola Tesla... (Copper, Zinc and Nickel)
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces16318.html

A Bit dodgy...only costs a dollar: Tesla and Edison were rivals, and Edison shafted Tesla.  Edison was a bit dodgy.

Edison also has a 1 Dollar commemorative coin...

I am going to throw in a guess now. I am going to say the Zimbabwean dollar. It is dodgy because almost every six months it changes until 2009 when it was abandoned all together. The shock comes from it being in such high denominations. And until is was abandoned the currency was a dollar. Probably not right but it is worth a try.
No, sorry.
