I would like to explain my side of a recent misunderstanding.

A few weeks ago, Stefan and I agreed on a banknote swap. He kindly sent his parcel first, and when it arrived I was very happy to receive it. I even thanked him and told him how much I appreciated the notes and coins he included.

Later, when I was preparing to send my side of the swap, I needed his address. I could not find a usable return address and therefore asked him to send it to me again. It is possible that the address became unreadable due to handling, friction, or contact with water during transit, or that I simply failed to preserve the envelope properly.

Unfortunately, my request for the address was interpreted as dishonesty. That was never my intention. I asked for the address because I wanted to complete the swap and send my items as agreed.

I understand why the situation may have appeared suspicious from his perspective, but I was acting in good faith and genuinely intended to fulfil my part of the exchange.

I am posting this only to explain my side of the story and to clear up the misunderstanding. I have no wish to attack or insult anyone, and I hope the matter can be resolved respectfully.

He has blocked me

As a collector and I have done many exchanges in the past, I find your story a bit strange. In all my exchange deals, addresses are usually posted in our conversations so that we can get our items ready. For example, if I agree to exchange with you, I would also email you to say that this is my name and address for you to send your items to me. I have never relied on the address of the envelope as some hand writings are hard to read. So to me, this has never been an issue, and I find it strange to hear from you that Stefan has now blocked you too.

This is just my 2 cents opinion here, and I do not know who Stefan is.

He has already given his explanation in one of his replies, which I can accept. Sometimes, one has to play around the rules to their advantage.

I also wonder why Stefan sent out his notes/coins first despite his more superior feedback. I have zero feedback here, so I am considered by many as not reliable. Was the deal too good to be true? I remember seeing this member here has the Swiss the 200 franks offered for exchange here. That note is no longer listed. Everyone loves high value notes, me included.😁

He was also saying that I wrote on parcel I couldn't find it because it may be worned by friction or water in transit.

This is my public announcement regarding stefan “If stefan doesn't send me his address within a week I will consider his sent items as free gift, and if he sends address after that I am not going to post my side. I am busy with my Jee preparation. I still waiting for him for a week because I believe that I should not do a loss of anyone.”

I have to admit that I normally do not read well, but this is just one confusing thread to me. 

BTW, according to my Google search on JEE, there are two in India. The main one was concluded in April 2016 for the 2026 academic year.

For JEE Advanced was concluded on 17/05/2026.

We are now in the month of June. So what JEE are you talking about? For 2027 entrance?😁
