Question.

There seems to be only 2 sorts of these:

correct me if I'm wrong. I have one and I don't know for fact which one. I don't believe that I have just "found" a gold one... but it surely doesn't look anything like silvery colour that the nickel-brass one looks on this picture.

Help! :(

Need to have scans front and back to see the "found" coin..

The 'gold' one just looks like the regular brass one and the lighting for some of the pictures changes the original tone of the coins.

Nickel-Brass is the same material the ring of the 1 euro coin and the center of 2 euro coin is made of, so the colo(u)r should be te same.
The pounds you're refferring to are mentioned in Spink and in Krause to be made of nickel-brass, silver or gold.

lol, yea, I mean I totally forgot that their weight is so different that I could use some usual scale. I don't have a precise scale that coin collectors normally use.
Yet another thing to add to my evergrowing shopping list. Sigh. How will I ever manage to get that list shorter, haha.

Can get one for a few £ off eBay, which will do the job.
