Roman coin

Hello everybody.

First of all, i would like to say i´m pleased to became a Numista´s member.

Now, to the subject... Could anyone please help me how to identify if this roman coin is a fake?

It´s in a very poor state, but maybe the style and the patina can confirm if it is real or not.

I think it´s a Constantine´s coin, based on the third and last pictures of this website: http://www.ancientresource.com/lots/ancient-coins/coins-constantine.html

However, i do rather reading some more experienced numismatist´s opinion from this forum.

That is a true roman coin.
Where did you get it?

Roman emperor Constantine the great was born in south Serbia, in the town of Nis.
You have a coin with Roman gate.
Here you can found it in very good condition for 0,5 - 1 eur.
16 Roman emperors was born in Serbia, and we have a lot of Roman coins.
Few days ago, I sold  1 kg (about 350 ) Roman coins for a 15 eur. Byt we cannot send it  out of country, because of the law.
Any question of Roman Emperor coins welcomed, I dont know only about Republic coins.
Hos facias homini, quod cupis esse tibi.
Thank you, Scout.

I´m aware that many roman emperors are from Balkans regions, but i didn´t realise there were so many.

I bought this coin in a antique store, here in São Paulo. It´s hard to find roman coins here, specially in good condition.
