Scandinavian fad

I seem to go through fads; until recently I was concentrating on Australian coins, now I have discovered a fondness for Scandinavian coins (Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, etc) Some of the late 1800s and early 1900s coins are really nice, I particularly love the lettering, the "O" with the 2 dots above it and the "O" with the slash through it.  Anyone else into these coins, or going through a fad?

On a side note, I was thinking on bidding on some Swedish/Norwegian coins, anyone know what the catalogue value of a holed 1883 10 Ore coin from Norway is?  It looks in VF other than the hole.

I like Norwegian coins! For some reason I have a big pile of them. My most valuable one is probably a holed 1923 50 ore coin. From what I gather, these were minted un-holed, but later on, new 50 ore coins had a design change that included a hole: so old un-holed 50 ore coins were returned to the Mint and perforated. The hole goes straight through the Norwegian lion... whoops. It's neat to have an (officially!) holed coin that was originally not intended to be holed... of course, they are worth more without the hole, but that's not as neat.

Go for Estonian coins too! Estonia is kind-of Scandinavia...

Don't often see a lot of Estonian coins over here unfortunately.
