The 5 in the date looks like a possible overstrike, but there isn't one listed that I can find. Thoughts?

I see what you mean but it could just be additional metal.

Yeah, it looks suspiciously regular, like there was a 1 under there. But that wouldn't make any sense.

I think that would be a re-punched date, not an overstrike.

The little bump in the middle-bottom of this picture doesn't look to me like any part of a 5...
