I got a bulk bag really cheaply, and apart from the usual base metal paperweights and 4 silver coins I found (Swiss 1963 2 francs, Britain 1928 half crown, Britain 1939 sixpence, France 1917 franc) there was a big stack of VF+ cu-ni half crowns. 16 of them to be exact dating from 1947-1967, most dates covered, I know what the book value is, but what price do you think would be a reasonable reserve for them in an online auction?
I really would urge you to wait until you can make a complete date run 1947> rather than offering a mixed lot. I think you will be pleasantly shocked at the result. It cover 4 different KM types, with / without IND IMP and with / without BRITT OMN.
There are no real key dates across the entire spread so individually the prices are modest. Buyers are looking to get random bulk lots for less than the value of each piece, you know this.
Or if you really want to recoup some cash quickly at least list them by KM# e.g. 49, 50, 51.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

I'm not really looking to recoup money that quickly, the 1963 2 francs and the 1928 half crown alone will cover what I paid for the whole bag, It was just a nice looking stack and I thought I'd list them separately rather than sell off the remainder of the bulk bag that I didn't need.
I don't think I could wait until I have a whole set, there's not many dates missing but I don't really buy enough coins to be able to get the rest by chance in a bulk bag and I'm not buying individual coins so I can complete a date run to sell.
I managed to get a couple of dollars by selling one individually, last year, but I was thinking of sticking 50c apiece on them in a bulk lot, that would be $8, does that sound reasonable?
Fees aren't too much, I think it's 5% of the sale with a minimum fee of 50c. Postage I get for free, so I usually charge a dollar or 2 for postage and use that to cover the Trademe fees, so the $8 would all be profit.
Yeah it's nice to have trademe as well as having access to Ebay. There is another site been set up called wheedle, but I think they're struggling to break the stranglehold that Trademe has on the local market
