Help Needed

I have recently come into possession of my great grandfather's foreign coin collection.  All of the coins are in their original containers--square cardboard stapled together, with plastic sheeting cover for viewing--and labeled with the date and the price he paid for each coin.  None of the coins have been certified.  What is my best bet for getting a good price? I'm thinking that maybe simply research each coin on the Internet and then list it on ebay?  My wife suggests taking it to a pawn shop, but I have a feeling I would take a beating going that route.  Are there any websites some of you might suggest that would make my search easier?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
This site is great for identifying purposes.
We have a Numisdoc that explains grading nicely: https://en.numista.com/numisdoc/coin-grades-58.html
And NGC has a nice site for book values.  These can be off from a realistic market value.  Completed eBay listings give a pretty good look at what certain coins are going for.

There are numerous Numista members that probably would be interested in buying something and most people here won't rip you off. The thing is: you would have to catalog all the coins on this website to let people know what you've got. Or you just tell which countries you have and if someone's interested they could ask for more information.
A pawn shop is fast money but if you have some patience in selling everything to collectors you'd make more money. Ebay is always a good website but there's the risk of not getting the price you want if you'd sell it as an auction, so you should maybe sell it for a fixed price on ebay.
Your Grand-father probably had a list of the coins. This could be a good start.

As said above you can also go, coin by coin, and register them in this site; later you can transfer them to an Excel file.

CCR, Any word on what you decided?  If there are any 20th century East Asian coins, I'd be happy to help identify.
