1909 UK half sovereign grade

please give your opinion on the grade of this coin and also if you think it's worth paying £80 for.
thanks in advance.

The site I use for UK coin values says "In January 2014 the minimum value of a half sovereign was about £85"
So £80 is a pretty good price I would say, since gold prices seem to be on the rise.

As to condition, I'm no expert on gold coins, it looks like it's been cleaned, probably VF-XF?
XF+! It is beautiful coin. My points off UNC: Slight scratch on Edward and unusual rim (dent) ((or is that the way the image has been trimmed?)).
There seems to be a little wear on St. George's face too but that could be the lighting.
It is an unusual rim dent and the reverse I believe is a little worn due to possibly being in a pendant hence the look of being cleaned on the reverse. It will now being going into my collection, my first UK gold coin.  :)
Congratulations. A beautiful coin. Well done.
Is it really minted in 1909?
Come on.....

Nice find that mate well done !
I agree with Ben on the grade, and with everybody on the response.
