Adding year to Oman 5 Baisa KM# 50

I have such coin dated 1418 = 1998.
Please add another year line.


This is not KM# 150, as only Muslim year is displayed.

you're right and not right. KM has decided the design is the same for the AH1418 and AH1420 (and later) coins, so Numista can NOT decide otherwise. It stays a KM# 150. We all have to live with the inconsistencies in the SCWC. In the Numista catalog it's written (١٤١٨ - ١٩٩٨ ) behind the coin. Obviously it should be only (١٤١٨) on that line!

The shown coin from 1418 is NOT magnetic, so it is definitely not KM#150 but KM#50.

Numismaster gives the dates for KM# 50 as AH 1395, 1400, 1406, 1410, and 1418. So if we want to be consistent with KM, that date should be listed there.

Even if it weren't listed, the date clearly exists for that type. It's absurd to suggest that this site should blindly follow the SCWC even in cases where it's in error (which are legion). If you want, I could cite dozens of cases where this site corrects errors in that guide.

1. Numista is not the internet version of KM.
2. Its a mistake of the KM catalogue to give the 1418 date for #150, and not for #50.
3. We should correct every mistake in the numista catalogue, it doesn't matter what KM or SCWC say...
If the design of the 1418 coin is like #50 (and unlike #150) and it is not magnetic like #50 (and unlike #150) why should we leave this date at the page of #150??

I tried to add 1418 to KM# 50 and got this message:

"The list of years is complete and has been verified. Most requests to add new year entries are sent for the wrong coin type. If you are sure you own this coin with a date that is not listed here, you can ask to have it added through the forum and include a picture of your coin in your message."

I wouldn't necessarily delete 1418 from KM# 150 because it's possible that both types exist with that date.

A catalogue administrator has to change that, if not I would have had changed it by myself.
I think 1418 does not exist in 2 types, at least at the google pictures search there are only the ones showing  ١٤١٨ and none of the type ١٤١٨ - ١٩٩٨. So I guess none of the 5 Baisa 1418 coins is magnetic.
