Hol-Landia Netherlands (2 coins - identification?)

4 сообщений
Hello all,

I have this two coins but I cannot figure out which are

Here are some pictures

1 - HOL-LANDIA (year seems to be 1x26?)

2 - I think it is from this country too...

Thanks in advance!
The bottom one is a 1/2 or 1 cent from the Netherlands, please give the weight and diameter for complete identification.

The upper one is from the Dutch republic, it's called a duit. It's not in the catalogue yet, add it if you want.
I will search for more information for you. The year on it is 1626

Thank you very much Hippaforalkus!

I will cut correctly the picture of the first one and add it to the catalogue, although it is already very degraded and I don´t have Krause for this century, so it would be necessary to add additional information to the coin.

1st - 1.6 grams 20mm

2nd - 1.9 grams and aparently 20-22mm

It is strange, by the way, as catalogue says that 1/2 cent is 16mm/1.92grams and 1 cent 22mm/3.9grams . I don´t know if it lost weight or if it gained diameter anyway.

I already have a coin from the Dutch Republic... in a bad shape, I know...  but I´m not an expert on cleaning, so I will keep as it.

1 Duit
