I feel that a fake chinese coin,
copy of a Tael from KIRIN Province (approx.1885)

Try to put a magnet on it : normally it's made of silver, but I feel it'll stick on it...
I though it was from Nepal
Yeah, asimov37 is absolutely right. It's a Chinese fantasy coin.

Did you by any chance buy this coin on Ebay from some Chinese seller?  ;)

I did buy it on e-bay. The seller is from USA Ohio.
You are right it is from China.
When it come I will see if it is silver or steel.

I am sure he must have purchased it from some Chinese seller and then sold it to you.

I recently bought a few similar Chinese coins, I know they are 100% fake but they are so huge and cute that I don't mind having them in my collection.  :P

It is probably fake but it's not a fantasy coin. These silver coins were struck at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the early days of the Republic of China.
