can someone help me to grade this coin?
VF details.

Both Numismedia and NGC list this coin at $180 but that includes certified coins and coins bought at retail price from licensed dealers who will usually guarantee a coin's authenticity and offer a returns policy. Private sales would normally be at least 25% less. I feel most comfortable negotiating round the 50% mark

However the coin pictured has been "whizzed". I'm pretty tolerant of lightly cleaned coins where the patina is removed along with the dirt. Given enough time and the right condition such a coin will eventually recover, at least partially. Those scratches though.... they aren't going anywhere.

Even to a tolerant soul such as myself, any numismatic value disappeared as soon as the dremel was powered up. You could carry it around in your pocket with some change for a few years and let it wear down naturally until the scratches have gone. People really do this.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

thanks for your reply
