Im sorry - what does it mean - "  edge readable from obverse and reverse"  ?

There is some inscription on the edge. So in one case, you can read it when the obverse of the coin is "watching you" and in another case, you can read it when the reverse of the coin is "watching you".

I am sorry, but I don't know how to explain that.    I tried.

With other words: there are two types:
- type A,
- type B.

In such case, Georgian 1 and 2 lari coins also have  such varietes, when you read  edge inscription from left to right if  obverse watch you, and if you read edge inscription from left to right  if reverse watch to you  

 I think its just planchet  position  variety after obverse and reverse struck, but not coin design variety...

I think something like this was discussed a while ago with UK £1 and £2 coins.
(But can't find the thread)

It was discussed to add two varieties, but dismissed as they are not "official" varieties as the orientation of the edge lettering is random.

But if this "variety" is mentioned on all coins pages then it should be also on these ones (including Georgia). You can check USA 1$ presidents. You'll see there type A and B.

Only few countries or years didn't do the two types.

There is proper description of how to recognise the two types.

To be honest I would not mind spending some time slowly updating the list of all 2 euro coins that have type a and Type B in Numista catalogue if mods would let know if it is okay to do that. As I said there is few countries and years that didn't do it, but i am willing to do the job of updating Numista catalogue on this. Also not all commemorative 2 euro coins were minted in both types.

Actually yes, the 1 and 2 lari from Georgia should be also both added. It is two different variants of a coin. It is the same reason why we add different mintmarks. It changes the look of coin because details are different

And if we add type a and Type B, then where do people with that coin marked already stay? Type a???

A yea, I see what you mean, because it was once off issue, it has no more year slots to have.
But also about other 2 euro coins that have year slots... Can anyone explain if so far there is only 2002 and someone is to change this one to 2002 type a and also to add another for 2002 type b, do the current people's coinlist start showing that they have type a?
