50 Euro cent without star

It seems to me that the coin i have (50 Euro Cent 1st map) is from Germany - Federal Republic. But it has no star that circles the coin which other 50 euro cent has can anyone please help me with this.

Instead of a mint error, it could very well be a post mint adaptation (removal of details on a lathe).

But it's a nice one to keep until you're sure what it is.
