I feel these coins take a collector of thier own. I love all world coins but man these old Asian coins sure do give me a run for my mone when it comes to identification, and after all that work tons of them look nearly identical in the end. Good luck finding it out though!

Matt
I know I am not sure how I got this coin. If I find out what it is I will place it in my swap list, so someone who really collects these coins has a way to get it. Would be happy to get a couple coins for it that I would want.
Probably modern replica.
mintdate between 1736-1795AD

and the modern replica:

The small dots on the reverse (first pic) on the fields are an indicator. The fields should be flat, many of the modern replicas have the dots in the fields.

interesting to know I don't collect these but have seen a few and is nice to know a out the flat fields.
The pictures you provided are not very clear to says if it is real or not.
If it is not real, then it has the value of a tourist replica.
If it is real, the value is also not much, because a lot of these coins were made and are not rare.
I do not collect chinese coins, because it is sometimes difficult to see if the are genuine.
Coins of many other countries are forged by the chinese. I have seen pictures of little factories where these fakes are made.
