Chinese dollar confirmation

7 сообщений
Hi

I'm fairly new to coin collecting (started with the olympic 50ps).  I was targeting a more UK based collection and it's growing nicely, however I do have some foreign coins coming my way.  My children recently went shopping and brought me back a Chinese coin (images below).  While tryin to add it to my collection I was unable to get an exact match.  The closest is the token found here https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces54877.html, but even the reverse of this is slightly different.

It seems to me to be a Chinese dollar (7 Mace and 2 Candareens) and appears to be from the Hu-Ben Province.

Please can anyone confirm if this is indeed a coin or token and which one on the website it may be.

Please let me know if the images need to be different. The photos are making the coin look less silver than it actually is.

Thanks in advance

MagicDave

you must comment every thread, after other ppl give a correct answer...
most from your posts are spam...
Ah no worries, thanks for the replies guys  :D
Generally if it's Chinese and early and silver...it's fake.  There seem to be more fakes than real coins out there, which is one reason why I steer clear or Chinese silver altogether.
Thanks Eazy,
I am just tryilg to give a correct answer B.
