I had been told its an Indian Mysore Kingdom Tipu Sultam era coin, please help me with correct identification of coin or is it a fake coin ?

Well I thought the same, but there are difference in the design of coin, specially dotted circle. whats your thoughts on it?

The picture in the catalogue is pretty worn. It could be that the dots on the edge are just worn away
