Please help testing my grading on 19th century coin. Tell me if I am right.

I go back and forth from VF to F. But I think it's VF. Any help Thank you

From my point and also the fact that the glare on the coin from the flash it's hard to give a true opinion but I would say -vf as there looks to be a little too much wear to give it the full vf.
Id grade it VF, of course theres a bit of wear but all details clearly visible

Older coins are different too grade and just need some work on them.

I agree older coins are sometimes more difficult to grade than modern ones.
Production process was not as advanced as it is now.

That's a very nice coin, congrats. I don't know why but the Geneve Canton coins I have seen many in nice grades, rarely in poor grades, maybe they weren't used or what?

I have a 1839 10 Centimes and that also in very nice grade.
