I would like your valuable suggestions regarding grade, catalog and authenticity of these coins.

Type 1: 1225//2 KM#103.7

Type 2:  KM# 123.5

Type 3: 1226//3 KM#123.8

Thanks for looking  :)
They look real in my opinion. Though Mysore is an area of coinage where the best fakes are made which fools even the most senior collectors. But these coins looks well circulated and well worn (I would be scared to buy AU/XF Mysore coppers).

Hope this helps!

Well, the problem here is that several collectors don't adhere to the age-old advice:

If it's too good to be true, then it probably is

Trying to buy coins with a higher grade for far less than what it is worth is what causes most problems.  You should buy from a very reputable dealer to avoid these issues.  But since we are all human, dealers also make mistakes and hence a good dealer is one who will refund you without question.

I try to buy good quality coins from reputable dealers for a few dollars more.  So, you shouldn't need to be scared, but be more informed of who you are dealing with and what your buying, then spend that dough accordingly...

It is also far better to buy ONE quality coin than to buy MULTIPLE crappy coins for the same monetary value :°
Well how reputable a dealer (or auction house) can be if HA is selling crap like these?

As you said one has to be more informed before buying.

That just indicates that Indian numismatics, no matter how popular it is right now, lags extremely behind other areas, namely US and European coins.  Finding good experts in all categories is extremely difficult and Indian numismatics is just the case.  Yes, it is fake and most auction houses do a poor job in Indian numismatics.  They don't have the expertise to determine whether or not a coin is fake or genuine.  Buy from known dealers who SPECIALIZE in these areas and you're good.  If not, know what you are buying!!!

I mentioned this earlier in another forum that Indians who are too eager to buy coins are getting burned left and right since they don't even know what they are buying and refuse to research and read books   8)
That is true. Books and research are the only way out.
