Could it not be the km# 20.1?
The mintplace looks different (bottom 1st picture)
And I see a regnal year 2 (right side of the first picture)
I see what looks like a sheep on the 2nd picture.
Nice coin.
I would not accept less than US$15 for it.

As those coins have broad leaf, also there is trident below the leaf which is mentioned in 20.1a
If i again see Km#20.1a than there is also sheep is formed(in mange looking S) but if you notice ngc has mentioned that that image is not exactly same
Also in Km# 20 there are no small lines all around the coin which is shown in image while in 20.1a there are
The 'S' is also on you coin, just above the 'sheep'.
The 20.1 also has a triden below the leaf.
There is a regnal year on your coin
The mintplace on your coin (bottom second picture) is different (krause:mintnames seems to change...)
You should find somebody who can read the coin.
Haseeb will prbably help you:

Yes, he said it is real punjab rupee coin with xf grade, of amritsar mint, date correct VS1874.But he said he do not read this language. I guess he just compared with some image and replied quickly. I had checked his chiefa catalog there is no refrence of KM #20.1a. So he just said Km #20.1
till now I found this:
'no doubt, it is a Sikh rupee of a known date and variety,
struck at Amritsar,
see 109576.
To collect Sikh coins(and other Indian coins), it is necessary to buy the book
written by Hans Herrli. '

Цитата: GurkiratThanks for replying and updating. Yes, it seems a very unique coins do you aware how to update ngc?
Even though, most people use Krause, it is not a true reference book. Krause is pretty much a summarized, laundry list of coins and lacks depth. There are so many errors and they don't have the resource to update their books. We have tried numerous times to send updated pictures and updated legends but they just ignored our requests.
It is great for beginners, but once you start to delve deeper into a series, you quickly find out that it is missing a lot of coins. So, use it with caution. Herrli is the defacto standard for Sikh coinage!
