I'm having difficulty determining grade on this coin. IMO: The rims and denticles appear strong, trouble free. The design elements and denomination are bold, but with slight traces of wear on highest points. There are traces of original luster, mostly on Reverse.
The coin obviously does not qualify for Mint State, but my gut feeling is that it's close. How close is where I'm having difficulty in deciding. Any input is always appreciated.
Absolutely! I agree it 'DOES NOT' qualify as Mint State. What I can really use is some professional help in determining 'Where', within the 10 different grade points of AU, would this coin most likely fall?
from the images and if it was my coin, then I would put a grade of EF as there is slight imperfection just to the bottom right under the date, apart from that I can see no real "wear"

Perfect coloration, which fits the age. I'd say that this coin should be graded as XF/AU.
