Help identifying Arabic coin

Hello,

got this coin together with some others at an antique seller, which had some coins as well. I have trying to identify it with no luck so far, even the year is strange...Size is that of a 2 EUR cent, heavier, looks like copper, but plated with some other metal. The design is similar to 50 Kuruş 1336, but this is definitely not gold!
I'm starting to think it is a fake or modern fantasy coin. Anybody seen this type before?

I think you are right that it is a 50 kurus...just as you say...not gold. Possible forgery...but have no idea. Thanks for letting us see it. Looking forward to the rest of the thread to find out about it.
