Only year on circulation coins

Georgian regular coins have a date 1993. All denominations of same coin family - 1,2,5,10,20,50 tetri . We use these coins more then 20 years ! And no any updates! Yes, new family of 50 tetri, 1 GEL and 2 GEl were issued in 2006, and we use them already 10 years ! But 1993 coins ( exept of 50 tetri, which was the best counterfeited coin) ar still in circulation and used perfectly from 1t. to 20 t. If Our Bank making restrikes , date is same anyway. De` Jure, we still use only year (1993) issued coins, because our Bank never put reports about restikes, - we know about it only from private and self - info-threads..

Im not so close with modern world coinage, but I just wonder, if there any other country which use only year coins more than 20 years ...
Hope YOu understan me, - I dont mean here USA or Switzerland, which use coins of 1930s . I mean only year coins without any year updates.

thanks

I knew similar issues for banknotes, but for coins... That's crazy! Like for medieval coinage!

Restrikes are quite common. The famous 1780 Maria Theresia Thaler has been restruck for ciculation until 1940, and is still restruck today for collectors.

Other example is the 1957 coinage of Thailand, which were struck until 1977. The 1966 Romanian 1 Leu coins were most likely restruck for decades.

But the extreme case of MTT is due to its numerous copies minted outside of Austria. Fortunately it doesn't circulate anymore.

Moreover the difference is Dato's series are still legal tender till now.

Yes, in this exact case under "restrikes" I meant just planned issues an anonymous number of coins of the same design and year, with only aim - fill circulation coin failure

I remember that most Europian euro-countries start striking eurocoins in 1999, which came in circulation starting 2002. Most countries put already 2002 on the coins, but in the Netherlands, because the queen was portrated, they use the actual year. She could die somewhere in between, so you cannot have a coin with the queen with date 2002 if she die before :-)
(...but this has nothing to do with the original topic/question...)
Ethiopian coin struck for over 30 years with same date:
