The weight depending on the brass alloy can range from nearly the same to a few tenths of a gramm per cubic centimeter lighter (so with a small coin and possible wear, quite useless).
The biggest difference will be the color ...
Bronze: red brown to dark brown
Brass: yellowish gold to light brown
There are other differences in physical properties but I can't see a practicall use for them on a coin.
So if you want an opinion or an educated guess you will have to provide us with a picture.
There is a chance to make a mistake if you look at the pictures on the Internet. For example, I have such problem with DOA 20 Heller coins on eBay. Frequently what they don't write is the coin brass or copper.
But in real life impossible to make mistake with brass and bronze coin. In all cases, in 100% cases. Brass is always yellow, even after 150 years. And Bronze is always red-brown, or darker, almost black-blue.
Much more difficult to separate brass and Aluminium-bronze.
I have a brass 1 yen coin (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces5437.html) that has tarnished to a bronze-like brown, with little yellow remaining. I would not have recognized it as brass if I hadn't looked up the composition.
