Thank you very much for the link Jarek (or Jarcek?). It's a pity it's only in Czech, but nevertheless I bookmarked your link.
There is a small difference in the 5 (as I suspected the 5 in the date and not the 5 in the denomination as thought in the first post) and in the distance between the digits in the date (see red markings).
But the easiest way to determine this variety is the difference in the mintmark (see green markings).
I have it also bokmarked, right now I am in the middle of managing Czechoslovak and Czech Silver commemoratives - and adding the gold ones. (And managing some other parts of catalogue) After that, I am going to manage varieties.
I thought about that, but I was sure one would suffer a lot of pixel loss, which is obviously not the case! So all the other varieties from that site might then be used the same way, but what about copy rights?
Can we assume, that everything put on the web is public? I once had a change request refused, because ONE of the images was from amazon.com (they also sell coins!). Anyway we'll see, and of course I think it should be accepted, for the good of all of us
I am trying to collect those variants, so I could take photos - so copyright would not matter. And since I am not very good with images, I would probably asked the migty Ole for a small pleasure, who have marks all over the catalogue - they are awesome works!
As I already told Ole on this forum a while ago, every Numista member is allowed to use my pictures.
The problem however for the picture of the 5 korun 1995, that's not my own picture. I used the pictures on the website you referred to, and edit these to indicate the differences. But I don't know anything at all if these pictures are copyrighted or free to use.
Hi Jarcek, I just saw you validated the coin request about the 5 korun 1995.
I think if you put together with the picture a link to the Czech website as source, there won't be any problem about eventual copyright.
By the fact that you can't resize the page or mark anything on it and the source code is is not much but copy right information I would think this guy has an interesst in protecting his copyrights.
But maybe if you ask nicely
I will ask nicely, it seems that he is amateur numismatic, with a dream of creating a catalogue. This would be like: Dreams come true and you are part of it!
I've "downloaded" all the variants found by Oliver (Lukas Richtera) from his site. I'll now have a look through my own coins, to see if I find some of them. If I find any of the variants, I can use my own coins as a basis and document from them.
Anyway if I use Oliver's or my own images, I'll of course give his name and his site (as the first person having documented the variants visibly!), BUT only after you've had a conversation with him, OK?
I'm now through all of the CR variants from the Czech site. I'll open a new message for each to have them checked and maybe somebody will also be able to send images of the variants I don't have to be able to cover the themes in the best manner.
Comments and clarifications are as usual very welcome.
After a certain time, I'll incorporate the feed-back into the documentations and only then will I make the change requests.
