thanks Spookie for ID of the years, but coin 3 is not a Falus but a Rupee. I will check if I can find it with having the year.
looks like there are 10 different 1 Rupee coins from Afghanistan for that year but I won't be able to id it without being able to read arabic.

I'l almost ready with coin nr. 3 but I have to go to my hairdresser first.
And it's strange (because you can now read the date easily) but the left picture must be turned 90 degrees clockwise.
I went by the date on the other side of the coin. (Bottom left hand corner). I guess that date was the date the coin design commemorated? I can see where you get the 0, but how do you get the 4? 1301 maybe?
Цитата: "Spookie"I went by the date on the other side of the coin. (Bottom left hand corner).
I can see where you get the 0, but how do you get the 4? 1301 maybe?
The 4 in Arabic has two different notations: ٤ and ۴ (go to https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php and then click on "special keyboard" and choose Arabic, there you see the two notations for "4").
And where do you see a 9 and 7 on the other side of the coin?
Coin nr. 4: Afghanistan - Barakzai dynasty, 1 rupee from Muhammad Afzal, KM# 507 (not yet in the Numista catalog). The date is AH 1283 or 1284 (1866 or 1867) but unfortunately as you can see, the date is just outside your coin:
Coin nr. 2 is difficult because I can't see a date there either.
Coin number 2 should've been the easiest to read but I'm having trouble seeing where the bloody inscription starts and the direction of the text ! From what I can randomly put together by jumping around for letters, it says Qandahar somehow.
thank you so much, I hope you don't mind if I post the next ones.

Nice find again Heretic_Cata for coin nr. 5. Reference number is KM# 223.1:
Here a comparison between your coin and the picture in Krause:
As you can see the image of the reverse of your coin in comparison with the image in Krause is a bit twisted again, but you've already noticed that happens all the time with these types of coins. Except for the twist it is a perfect match.
You guys are great
I feel almost sorry Im asking so much and I have quite a few more to identify
any ideas on 6, 7 and 8?

And thank you again Heretic_Cata. I can't read any Arabic except for numerals but the moment you told it was also a coin from Abdur Rahman identification was easy:
Apuking: comparison between the pictures of your coin and the pictures in Krause:
So a perfect match except for a little twist as usual.
Thanks so much :-) 6 and 8 is more difficult again because of no complete visible date?
I hope you don't mind but I will post the next three.
Sorry cant measure the diameter anymore as my digital scales have run out of batteries.
the next few coins might be 1/2 rupees as they seem smaller and lighter.

Number 9 is Qajar Persia. From what I can read it's Nasir al-Din Shah. And found it ! http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=88284
Number 11 is also Persia - i'm not sure on the shah but i think the coin says "Dar al-Muminin" which is the epithet of Astarabad. I think it's pre-Qajar tho ... I'm still searching.
Thank you, so thats the first ones from Iran.
I have found that the coin has the catalogue number Mitchiner 2160
obly for the KM catalogue Im unsure if its KM# 824.6 or 824.15
