Philippines 50 Sentimo KM#242.2 (error lettering PITHECOBHAGA)

I'm very excited (almost as much as when I received two used tea bags through the post) to have found a 1983 Philippines 50 Sentimo KM#242.2 with the error lettering PITHECOBHAGA.

Please someone, put my fire out by telling me this coin is very common. Although having looked up the Krause book price, it seems worth putting aside.

at least if you consider approx 5€ worth in grade XF a fortune, lot less in VF.
compared to 0.25€ for the other one - well, good find

No I don't consider it to be worth a fortune! It never ceeases to amaze me just how worthless coins are, unless one goes back to Charles II crowns in VF or better condition. Still, its something to leave my great-great-great-great-grandchildren <g>

I predict within my lifetime an end to cash (or certainly a major demise here in the west), and that might just cause a rise in coin values. But don't tell anyone...I don't want them getting expensive just yet!
