Another Egyptian, Turkish, Sudanese ???? puzzle

Another strange flea market find.  I can't find it in the Krause manuals.  Any ideas?  Appears to be gold, very thin.

Thanks,

Raider
Well, first of all,

It looks like gold. But if it's not gold (brass) then it is fake. Or it could be gold-coloured silver.

It says 1222. And it looks awfully similar to Libya - Tripoli KM#81.1 1 Para. However, it is copper.

Also looks like Turkey KM#546. However, the obverse really throws me off.

Perhaps it reads 1223.

It certainly looks like an Ottoman Empire issue and if the year of accession was AH1222, that would be Mustafa IV. However, the regnal year appears to be 16 and Mustafa IV only ruled for a couple of years so the date at the bottom must be 1223 which is Mahmud II and his 16th year of rule would be 1822 AD. Having said all that, I can't find any matches in the 5th Edition of Krause 1801-1900.
