I know it's an old post but not bad to mention…
KM#82.1 N#12264
I still have my 81.1 listed in collection as Cu-Ni, I guess the old Krause version didn't differentiate the compositions. The main difference is different portrait, with 1 medal on uniform. That portrait is actually a pattern presentation strike and it is now on numista:
N#95794
Whole story is there…
If that pattern coin is the basis for Krause adding Y# 82.2 then we should add Y# 82.2 to that page with an explanation of the date error. People who search for 82.2 should find it with an explanation instead of finding nothing (and coming to the forum to post).
That if is a big question…
SCWC does not list the pattern. Thai catalogs do not list one-medal type with 2500… it likely is the basis, but how to prove it? In my newer catalog there is also entry for 82a, silver baht - rare…I have no idea what's that as well…
So numista listings are probably fine, at least IMHO. 82.2 is not listed at all, if it ever appears (which will not) it will be added. Pattern issue dated 2493 does not have cross reference for Krause as it doesn't exist.
P.S. I get your point and that's why I referenced 82.1 to show in the the discussions if somebody is searching for 82.2

I am here just for this reason. It looks very strange that we have no pictures in SCWC and none has this coin.
It must be for sure very very rare or, which is my opinion, one of those mistakes that, if a future edition of that catalog will ever be printed, they will have to fix.

There will be no future version of those printed catalogs. Print is dead.
The continuation is Numismaster, but they are struggling to keep up with new releases. I would expect them to be reviewing old listings except for serious errors.
