The picture there is the 1981 coin. If you have 1400 on your coin, then you likely have the 1980. The corresponding 1970 Gregorian year should be 1390 for your coin.
It's very common for the year to be off by 1 though depending on what time of year it was minted. The Hijri year is lunar and is about 10-11 days shorter. I believe their current year 1437 ends in early October for the Gregorian calendar, so anything they mint through the end of next month would show 2016/1437 and if they mint coins in October-December, it would say 2016/1438
